Wee Bit O'heather

This is a charming little diner that is extremely wholesome and makes killer breakfasts! I grew up in a very rural place and it really was nostalgic to see all the old gruffy farmers having their early morning coffees and playing dice together while grumbling about their combines. The lady who was running the place was extremely kind and very attentive despite being busy. I ordered the hash with sausage and veggies, and it was, without exaggeration, the best hash I have ever eaten! I am kicking myself that I didn't try this diner earlier. I love that it is open early in the morning for us die-hard morning people too. I will be coming back again!

Our first time to visit. Would have eaten there sooner, but it's always busy and only open till 2 pm. Not as big on the inside as we thought. Mostly regulars from what we gathered talking to some regulars. Scottish themed. Food was good, and fairly quick service for as busy as it was. Some cobwebs in the corners, and a little dusty, but homey. The "regulars" even clear their own tables and pour coffee. Reasonably priced, too. A great way to start your weekend. We had breakfast, and they offer the usual selections.

First time trying this place out and had a pancake, bacon and egg.. it was absolutely delicious. The pancake was the size of the plate and fluffy. Bacon and egg were both great as well.. the server was very attentive checking back frequently and did a great job.. I'll be back for sure.. thanks
